About Soy
Sauyer Emilio Glover was born on October 18, 2007 in Oxford, Michigan,
to parents Ferrell’s Stitch and My Little One II. He is a purebred AKC-certified pedigree Yorkshire Terrier and was the first born in a litter of 4. When Sauyer was adopted, we were told that he loved scrambled eggs and chicken tenders pan-fried with gravy. It was no surprise that he would forever be spoiled and catered to.
On December 26, 2007, Sauyer became a cherished member of ‘The Glover Family’ and earned the endearing nickname “Soy Boy.”
He was an intelligent and spirited dog who took great joy in showcasing his tricks, engaging with toys and skillfully bouncing balloons in the air using his nose. His accolades include victories in the Pet Smart and Petco Halloween costume contests, and he was the April 2009 dog photo contest winner on pamperedpuppy.com.
The camera loved him, as he had numerous themed photo shoots throughout the years and a family portrait adorns the wall at Partridge Creek Mall. Sauyer was adored by everyone who met him. His family and friends showered him with love, and he was always celebrated. He loved the holidays and was always included in family gatherings. Sauyer’s personality exudes a regal quality akin to that of a lion,
The ‘King of the Jungle.
Admirers frequently praise his exquisite appearance as a “Beautiful Yorkie” and would compliment his signature mohawk. Sauyer crossed over the rainbow bridge on April 7, 2024, at 6:13 p.m. surrounded by his family. He had a good life and will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind his loving Glover Family: Krista, Yolanda, Blair, and his sister Iyora, whose first word was “dog.” along with a host of extended family and friends.
